BOTHELL – Jim Kreiger is looking at Lent and Holy Week in a whole new way after his involvement in a Passion play at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Bothell.

Kreiger directs dozens of fellow parishioners in “The Passion of the Christ” on March 28 at 8 p.m. He said the experience has been humbling.

In December, Pietro De Lise, a parishioner who previously performed in Passion productions back in his home country of Italy, first presented the idea for the play. De Lise translated an Italian script into English and contributed ideas for production design and sets.

Roles in the play are being filled by a multicultural, multigenerational group of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parishioners who have been rehearsing for a few months.

The Passion play is free and open to the public. For more information email This email address is being protected from spambots.
