Jesuit Father William Watson, the founder of the Sacred Story Institute, will lead a Sacred Story Silent Retreat May 16-18 at the Archbishop Brunett Retreat Center at the Palisades (4700 S.W. Dash Point Road, Federal Way).

The retreat will focus on spiritual discernment structured around Father Watson’s Forty Weeks program, which “helps people develop a personal relationship with Jesus, discover the graces of Reconciliation, and learn about spiritual discernment,” according to the Palisades retreat description.

While participants at Archdiocese of Seattle parishes participating in the Forty Weeks program are encouraged to attend, the retreat is open to all “who want to open themselves more fully to Christ in their lives.”

The price is $199 per person (single room) or $165 per person (double room), and includes six meals and two nights in a room with private bath. Scholarships are available. For more information, call 206-748-7991.

For more information and to register, visit the Palisades website.

Father Watson contributes to Northwest Catholic magazine in his Sacred Story column.
