St. Matthew Parish in North Seattle is seeking candidates for a full-time (35 hours a week with benefits) administrative assistant. The Director of Campus Ministry provides leadership that enhances the University community’s spiritual and faith formation, supports a rich and vibrant liturgical life on campus, and furthers the University’s service to the Church and the world. The Director:
• develops and oversees programs in both faith formation and service.
• provides pastoral care and support to students, staff, and faculty.
• leads, manages, and evaluates the work of the campus ministry team, including 2.5 full-time professional staff.
• oversees departmental administration, budget, policies and assessment.
• collaborates with University Chaplain and monastic community.
Qualifications: A master’s degree in Divinity, Theology, or a related field is required. Applicants should have three years of experience in campus ministry and be a practicing member of the Roman Catholic Church. Other requirements are: proven experience ministering effectively in diverse communities, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, solid pastoral formation and capabilities, keen understanding of the spiritual/religious development stages of young adults, and proven experience in creative program development. Holy Family Parish, Seattle, is hiring an organist. General responsibilities include: coordinating with the Director of Music and the Pastor in planning, preparing, and playing of music appropriate to Sunday Masses and other services of worship, as needed, during the liturgical year. Prepare sufficiently for optimum performance on the organ or piano for rehearsals and worship. Accompany scheduled rehearsals of the English Choir, and the combined English and Spanish Choirs. And, play for weddings, funerals and/or quinceaneras, as available.
