Archbishop Sartain to ordain Vietnamese priest

SEATTLE – Archbishop J. Peter Sartain will ordain Deacon Thanh Dinh Vo a priest for the Domus Dei Clerical Society of Apostolic Life on June 25, in addition to the four priests he will ordain for the Archdiocese of Seattle, said Father Gary Zender, the archdiocesan vicar for clergy. The ordination Mass will be at 10 a.m. at St. James Cathedral.

‘Bizarre’ burglary at Seattle parish

SEATTLE – Father Matthew Oakland was just settling into an Easter Week vacation at his parents’ house when he got a call early Tuesday, March 29. The office at Holy Rosary Church in West Seattle, where he is the pastor, had been robbed the night before.
