Be stouthearted — wait for the Lord

This column is written on the same day I made the unprecedented decision to restrict the public celebration of the Eucharist for the Archdiocese of Seattle. More than likely at the time of this reading, we are still living with this new reality, and the advance of this COVID-19 health threat.

Archbishop Sartain releases Easter video message

SEATTLE – Archbishop J. Peter Sartain has released an Easter video message. “Every one of us, because of the grace and mercy of God, can begin again, and God will lovingly receive us,” the archbishop says in the video. “Easter is our proclamation of the new life that God never tires in giving us through Jesus, his Son.”
