Kimberly LaRiviere
Kennedy Catholic High School
Senior
“Kimberly is constantly pushing herself to be her absolute best,” said nominator Sofia Lopez. “She brings a light to our campus with her ability to bring others into the Lancer Family.” Kimberly helps lead class retreats and serves in various leadership positions. She also volunteers at the West Seattle Food Bank. She is a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish.
Jackson Hudgins
Eastside Catholic High School
Senior
Jackson is “a wonderful example of a young man who encourages his peers in and out of the classroom,” said Principal Barbara Swann. He sings in the school choir, plays football and ultimate frisbee. and is a dedicated Boy Scout. He also serves in ASB leadership and is the “behind-the-scenes go-to guy” for school musicals. He’s a member of St. Louise de Marillac Parish.
In each edition through June, Northwest Catholic will honor students for their achievements and contributions in the classroom, in their extracurricular activities, and in their churches and communities. At the end of the school year, two Students of the Year will be selected to receive $1,000 Northwest Catholic scholarships.
