“The Eucharist is an inexhaustible source of grace." - Archbishop Paul D. Etienne
After a holy hour of adoration on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 19, Archbishop Paul D. Etienne emerged from the west doors of St. James Cathedral and blessed the Archdiocese of Seattle with the Blessed Sacrament. As the cathedral bells pealed, the archbishop lifted high a monstrance bearing the Eucharist and made the sign of the cross with it facing to the west, then to the south and the north. You can read the archbishop’s new pastoral letter on the Eucharist beginning on page 14 of our June edition of Northwest Catholic Magazine.
