SEATTLE – A couple of decades ago, Bill Cahill did plumbing, landscaping and other tasks at St. George School to help pay for the education of his six children there. Now he’s giving back to the school.
A delegation of U.S. Catholic bishops is visiting the U.S.-Mexico border July 2 as a sign of solidarity with families suffering the pain of separation. Seattle Archbishop J. Peter Sartain shared the following statement of support:
SEATTLE – When Margaret Whetham’s husband, Bill, experienced complications from neurosurgery in early 2017 and needed more than four months to recover, “I quickly realized it was too heavy of a burden to carry alone,” she said.
